Summer at the Farm Give your child a summer to remember with our immersive Half-Day Farm Experience. Designed for children aged 8–14, this scheme goes far beyond just "petting the animals." We invite our young farmers to learn about animals in the fresh country air. The Daily Breakdown Every day offers a new lens through which to view farm life. From 10:00 AM to 12:30PM, your child will be fully engaged in our daily curriculum: Day 1: The Basics – An introduction to our donkey herd! We’ll dive into fascinating history, learn fun facts, and master the essential handling skills needed to build a bond with these gentle animals. Day 2: Life at the Farm – A day in the life of a farmer. We’ll meet and work with our resident sheep, goats, chickens, and bunnies, discovering exactly what it takes to keep every creature happy and healthy. Day 3: Advanced Donkey Handling – Time to put those Day 1 skills to the test! The kids will learn to lead their donkeys through a custom-built obstacle course followed by a scenic trek. Day 4: Craft Day – We’re shifting gears to get those creative brains moving. Using the farm as inspiration, kids will design and create a unique project to take home. Day 5: The Grand Finale Fashion Show – The ultimate Friday celebration! Kids will plan and create outfits for themselves and their donkey partners for a special showcase performance for the grownups at pick-up. What You Need to Know No Experience Necessary. Small Group Sizes: To ensure safety and a high-quality experience, spaces are strictly limited to 12 children. Snack Time: We provide a dedicated snack break each day to keep energy levels high. Booking Policy for Kinedale Donkeys Experiences: Reservation Confirmation: Your booking is confirmed upon payment. Full payment is required to secure your reservation. Cancellation and Refunds: Enjoy a 100% refund if canceled 48 hours before the scheduled experience. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable, with 100% of the payment retained. Participant Responsibility: Participants are responsible for their safety and the safety of their party during the Kinedale Donkeys Experiences. Guardians are specifically accountable for supervising children in their care, especially when left with our staff on the farm. Health and Safety: Please inform us of any health concerns or allergies before the experience. We reserve the right to refuse participation if there are safety concerns. Environmental Respect: Help us maintain a clean and eco-friendly environment during your visit. Kindly read our comprehensive environmental policy available on our website. Code of Conduct: Respectful behavior towards our staff, donkeys, other animals, and fellow participants is expected. Non-compliance with this code of conduct may result in removal from the experience without a refund. Inclement Weather: Activities may be modified or rescheduled in the event of inclement weather conditions. Participants will be promptly notified of any changes. Age and Fitness Requirements: Inquire about the suitability of the experience for specific age groups. Please share any fitness concerns to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Disability Access: Inform us of any specific accessibility requirements or concerns. We are dedicated to making accommodations for participants with disabilities to the best of our ability. Emergency Contact (For Children's Activities Only): Emergency contact information is required for activities involving children who will be left under the care of Kinedale Donkeys staff. Rest assured that this information will be treated confidentially and will only be used in case of emergencies. Additional Charges: Any additional fees will be communicated clearly and upfront. We are committed to transparency; there are no hidden charges. Force Majeure: In unforeseen circumstances or force majeure, we may modify or cancel the experience to ensure animal welfare.
