Filmwork & Photoshoots
Due to the photogenic qualities qualities of the donkeys and our range of traditional farming equipment and harness we make great additions to film sets and photoshoots.

Denis the donkey has even been a talking donkey in a short film, voiced by Ardal O'Hanlon as well as appearing on stage in the National Concert Hall in Dublin for Carmen the Opera!
Trained and
well-handled
As most of our donkeys are born on the farm they have been handled since day one by myself and my family.
​
The donkeys are happy to work with us and are comfortable to work with actors and models.
​
These donkeys are used to working in hospitals and schools for therapy. Therefore are at ease around many people, lights, loud noises and all the goings-on of a set.
​
They are also comfortable to travel across Ireland and the UK.
Traditonal Harness & Equipment
We have a vast selection of carts, donkey-drawn farming equipment, woven baskets and harness for the donkeys to work in and wear.
​
Most of our donkeys have had basic training in harness and are capable of towing carts & equipment or being ridden.
​
We have a range of colours of donkeys, from standard brown and grey to black and white spots like a Dalmation dog!

Experienced
Our donkeys carry public liability insurance to cover them on jobs and to protect anyone working with them.
I have worked on films and have a love for the magic of cinema. I am happy to advise on the history and tradition of working animals and farming to improve accuracy where possible.
​
Myself and any handlers that come may be able to bring their own period costume. Further we can often help to provide farming items for set decoration.
