Service Description

A cosy celebration with donkeys, poetry, heritage and hearty food. Step into our rustic barn in Ballynahinch for a warm, intimate evening celebrating the rich Scots heritage of Burns Night. With space for only 30 guests, this is a uniquely atmospheric and personal event. Join us as we honour Scotland’s beloved bard, Robert Burns, through traditional poetry readings from our own Robert and his brother and an authentic home-made supper prepared by my mother—featuring haggis and cranachan (King of Scottish desserts), just as it should be. We will be proudly wearing kilts, and you’re warmly encouraged (but not required!) to join in the spirit with tartan of your own. Throughout the evening, you’ll also have the chance to meet and cuddle our gentle therapy donkeys, the goats, rabbits and if we can catch a haggis—because no night at the farm would be complete without them. Guests can enjoy hot drinks served in the barn’s cosy glow, and each adult will receive a complimentary whisky to raise in the traditional Burns Night toast.
