This winter, give your Christmas tree a second life with Kinedale Donkeys' Tree Drop-Off! For just £5 per tree, you can provide our donkeys, goats, and other animals with hours of natural enrichment while contributing to eco-friendly recycling. How It Works: Book Your Slot: Reserve a time to drop off your used Christmas tree at our farm during one of two designated weekends. We are accepting 100 trees only, so be sure to book early! Animal Enrichment: Your tree will provide our animals with endless joy as they chew on the needles, scratch on the branches, and play, adding valuable stimulation during the winter. (Note: This is a supplement to their diet, not their primary feed.) Recycling: Once the animals have enjoyed the trees, we’ll chip the trunks for farm pathways or send them away to be dried and used as firewood—ensuring full recycling of your tree. Visit to Living Nativity: When you drop off your tree, you’re invited to explore our enchanting Living Nativity: Meet Our Animals: Interact with the donkeys, goats, and sheep who will enjoy your tree. Important Details: Cost: £5 per tree with a booked slot. Trees dropped off without a booking will incur a £10 fee. The Tree: Please remove all decorations, they pose a risk to the animals. You may chop the tree to make it easier to transport, please remove string or plastic wrap. Booking: Limited slots available—book now to secure your place! Fly-Tipping Policy: Trees dumped over our fence or gate will be treated as fly-tipping. CCTV is in operation, and violators will be reported.
