Student Serenity Session – at The Serenity Barn Welcome to The Serenity Barn, a calm, welcoming space where students can switch off from uni stress and reconnect with nature. Designed especially for students from Queen’s University Belfast and Ulster University, this session offers a breather when deadlines, exams, and pressure start to feel overwhelming. The Student Serenity Session is a 1.5-hour experience, held on Wednesdays and Fridays to fit around university half-days, and available at a discounted student rate of £15 (normally £20). During your session, you’ll slow things down with our friendly animals in a peaceful barn setting. You’ll begin with a gentle guided goat meditation, helping you relax, clear your head, and reset your nervous system. Afterward, you’ll have plenty of time to simply be — cuddling our donkeys, spending time with our goats, and enjoying calm moments with our bunnies. Animal-assisted therapy is known to help reduce stress and anxiety, support emotional wellbeing, and create a sense of grounding — which can be especially helpful during intense study periods. This session is also deeply personal to me; the animals supported me through challenging moments during my own studies, and this space exists to offer that same comfort to students who may be struggling now. Whether you’re dealing with exam pressure, assignment overload, or just need a break from the constant noise of university life, the Student Serenity Session is a safe, soothing place to pause, breathe, and feel supported.

Booking Policy for Kinedale Donkeys Experiences: Reservation Confirmation: Your booking is confirmed upon payment. Full payment is required to secure your reservation. Cancellation and Refunds: Enjoy a 100% refund if canceled 48 hours before the scheduled experience. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable, with 100% of the payment retained. Participant Responsibility: Participants are responsible for their safety and the safety of their party during the Kinedale Donkeys Experiences. Guardians are specifically accountable for supervising children in their care, especially when left with our staff on the farm. Health and Safety: Please inform us of any health concerns or allergies before the experience. We reserve the right to refuse participation if there are safety concerns. Environmental Respect: Help us maintain a clean and eco-friendly environment during your visit. Kindly read our comprehensive environmental policy available on our website. Code of Conduct: Respectful behavior towards our staff, donkeys, other animals, and fellow participants is expected. Non-compliance with this code of conduct may result in removal from the experience without a refund. Inclement Weather: Activities may be modified or rescheduled in the event of inclement weather conditions. Participants will be promptly notified of any changes. Age and Fitness Requirements: Inquire about the suitability of the experience for specific age groups. Please share any fitness concerns to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Disability Access: Inform us of any specific accessibility requirements or concerns. We are dedicated to making accommodations for participants with disabilities to the best of our ability. Emergency Contact (For Children's Activities Only): Emergency contact information is required for activities involving children who will be left under the care of Kinedale Donkeys staff. Rest assured that this information will be treated confidentially and will only be used in case of emergencies. Additional Charges: Any additional fees will be communicated clearly and upfront. We are committed to transparency; there are no hidden charges. Force Majeure: In unforeseen circumstances or force majeure, we may modify or cancel the experience to ensure animal welfare.
